Sticker Detective Privacy Policy
Sticker Detective is a seek-and-find game for young children. This policy is short because the app does very little with data: it collects none.
What we collect
Nothing. Sticker Detective does not collect, store on our systems, or share any personal information or any other information about you, your child or your device.
- No account or sign-in. The app never asks for a name, email address, age or photo.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking libraries of any kind.
- No advertising ID, device identifiers, location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
- No Internet access. The release app does not request the Android INTERNET permission, so it cannot send or receive anything.
- No ads, no in-app purchases, no links out of the app, no social features, no chat, no user-generated content.
What stays on the device
The game remembers progress so that stickers are still there next time: which rooms were finished, which stickers were earned, the chosen book cover, the chosen eyes mode, whether sound is on, whether Calm mode is on and whether the first-run tap cue has been shown. This is saved only in the app's private storage on the device, is never transmitted, and is removed when the app is uninstalled or when a grown-up chooses "Start the sticker book again" in the gated settings. It is excluded from Android cloud backup.
Children's privacy
Sticker Detective is designed for children aged 3 to 8 and is intended to meet the Google Play Families Policy, the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, including GDPR-K) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, including children, no parental consent mechanism is needed and there is nothing for a parent to review, delete or opt out of. Settings that a child should not change (sound, Calm mode, resetting the sticker book) sit behind a hold-for-three-seconds grown-ups gate. The contact address shown in the app is plain text, not a link.
Third parties
None. The app uses the open-source Flutter framework and the shared_preferences (local storage) and audioplayers (plays the bundled sound files) libraries. Neither contacts any server from this app.
Changes
If a future version ever changes what the app does with data, we will update this policy, change the effective date and update the Play Console data safety form before that version is released.
