Sling Garden Privacy Policy
1. Summary
Sling Garden collects nothing. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect, store on our side, or share your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, device identifiers or anything else about you. The app has no Internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere, and it contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software.
2. Data stored on your device only
The app saves a small amount of game state in Android "shared preferences" on your device:
- stars earned per level and the current attempt of a level (which pods are popped, how many pebbles were used, whether a hint was used);
- today's shared-garden result;
- your settings: sound, haptics, reduce motion, and whether the how-to screen has been shown;
- simple device-local counters: levels finished, pebbles launched, hints requested.
This never leaves your device through anything we built. Android's cloud backup is switched off for this app (allowBackup="false"). Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
3. Sharing a result
The win screen has a "Copy challenge result" button. It puts a few lines of text (level, stars, pebbles) on your clipboard; nothing is sent by the app. What you paste, and where, is entirely your choice.
4. Children
The game has no accounts, chat, purchases or ads and collects no data, so there is nothing to collect from children either. It is not specifically designed for children and is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme.
5. Permissions
The app requests no runtime permissions and does not declare the Internet permission. Haptic feedback uses the standard Android vibration API, which needs no permission for feedback of this kind.
6. Changes
If a future version ever collects or transmits data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date, and the Play Console Data safety form will be updated to match.
